Born on September 26, 1990, in Dhamangaon Railway, Mayur was raised in a family deeply connected to art and craftsmanship. His father, Prakash Gangasagar, and grandfather, Narayanrao Gangasagar, played a significant role in nurturing his artistic foundation from an early age. His creative journey began at the age of four through painting and sculpting, inspired by traditional festival art and cultural craftsmanship.
