The Group Stage Format

The group stage runs from June 11 to June 27. Each group contains four teams, and every team plays three matches. Group D: United States, Paraguay, Australia, Türkiye. Key match to watch — Brazil vs Morocco on June 13, with Neymar a major doubt. The USA open in Group D at home, the tournament's most politically charged storyline.

Group K: Portugal, DR Congo, Uzbekistan, Colombia — Portugal open against DR Congo in Houston on June 17, with Colombia vs Portugal on June 27 at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami. Quarter-finals follow on July 8–9, semi-finals on July 14–15, the third-place play-off on July 18, and the Grand Final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium, New Jersey. Every match is broadcast on FOX and FS1, with Spanish language coverage on Telemundo and Peacock.
