The Pastor Who Preached Bitcoin — And the Canvas That Changed His Congregation | Roseson®

Reverend Marcus leads a Baptist congregation of approximately 400 families in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been their pastor for eleven years and has watched his congregation navigate the specific financial challenges that disproportionately affect Black American communities: higher rates of unbanked and underbanked households, lower rates of investment account ownership, a historical pattern of exclusion from wealth-building institutions that has compounded across generations.

In 2023, after eighteen months of personal Bitcoin research, Reverend Marcus started a Bitcoin literacy series at his church. Forty-seven families attended every session of the six-week series.

The Canvas in the Community Hall
